Located just 100 meters from the sea in Whitley Bay, close to Whitley Bay metro station, we offer an exclusive private event space for parties, celebrations and gatherings. With space for 40 to 120 people, dancing, music, optional djs, bespoke seating layouts and a private bar, we are quickly becoming known for hosting some of the best private parties on the coast.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Our private event space is available for celebrations and gatherings for 40 - 80 people, with a total of 120 guests allowed if you take into account access to the front bar and terrace.
The hire fee is just £220, which includes:
• Exclusive use of the private event space
• Your own private bar
• A custom sound system for DJs and live music
• Flexible layout for dancing, seating and gathering
• All custom and ambient lighting
Once booked, the space is yours for the duration of your party, along with full access to the front bar and terrace outside.

Pretty much anything worth celebrating. We’ve had milestone birthdays, engagements, weddings, retirement parties, big family get-togethers, leaving parties, team celebrations and launches, as well as parties simply because people wanted to get everyone they love together in one place.
Some are laid-back with food, cocktails and good music, others turn into a full dance floor with DJs, live music and entertainment.
It’s your party. We give you a great space to do something with it.
The event space works best for 40 to 80 people, depending on how you want your event or party to feel and the front shared bar and terrace can hold an extra 40 guests.
The event space is exclusive to your party, with all your guests also having full access to the front bar and terrace.
As long as you hit 50 or more guests there is no minimum spend required as the £220 hire fee covers the space and staff.
Yes and as long as you take any balloons or decorations away with you at the end of the night or the next morning, you are welcome to curate the space as you like.
We personally don’t provide food but we can put you in touch with amazing people who do. You can also arrange to have a pizza drop off, a cake table or no food at all.
Yes, we offer hire for art exhibitions, music events, album or book launches, celebrations of life and DJ nights. We are also very open to collaborations, so just get in touch if this is something you would like to explore with us.
If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate but your numbers don’t quite reach 40, we may still be able to help. Contact us here to find out more.
We do have a collective of DJs that produce nights for us at OXYGENIC, and we could put you in touch. There would be an extra charge for this, but this would be direct with you and the DJ.
For night time parties, people usually hire the room from 6pm until 12.30am. For daytime parties you can start as early as you like. Just let us know what you are planning and we can shape it around your needs.
