Following on from his intimate acoustic set here a month ago, we’re excited to welcome Charlie Floyd back, this time with two of his bandmates and a special warm up guest, for a full live set.
Charlie goes on after 8, but arrive early, settle in, and grab the best seats.
Free entry. Two bars open.
Happy hours run from 6PM - 8PM and we’re here until past midnight, but come settle in early for the whole experience.
About Oxygenic
OXYGENIC is an independent art, music and social space in Whitley Bay, brought to life by the people who work here, walk through our door and by the musicians, artists and DJs we collaborate with.
Our front Art Bar is always open for walk-ins with a relaxed vibe, great cocktails and a curated mix of international and independent beers and wines.
Behind it, the Cave Bar brings the energy with DJ nights, live sets, private takeovers, large group bookings and celebrations.
Everything here is created by the people who work here, from the art and organic design to the cocktails and the custom ORGON SYSTEMS sound system.
We are a grassroots space that continues to grow and evolve, and we would love you to be part of our journey, whether you are here for a live music event, a night in the bar, one of our art exhibitions or the whole path ahead.

We curate work that carries texture, feeling and presence — pieces that invite you to pause, look closer and sense something beneath the surface. The interior itself was built by hand in the same spirit, using clay, reclaimed materials and organic lines that turn the whole space into a living installation.
Alongside exhibitions, we host creative gatherings, intimate showcases, collaborative projects and artist-led events. From expressionist work to mixed-media forms, from stillness to sound-infused experiences, the art at OXYGENIC is always evolving.
